Coaching opportunities

A week of coaching, from what the dashboard already shows you.

Each of these takes a few minutes and starts from something already on the screen. You’ll find your own; these are the ones that show up first.

  • Monday
  • 10 minutes
  • Whole team

Play the best call of the week

Where you see it

Best call, on the team page. Open it, press Listen on its green moments.

The coaching move

Play two clips to the team and ask what the rep did. Recognition in front of peers is the cheapest motivation there is, and the team hears the standard in a colleague’s voice.

  • One category

Pick the week’s one thing

Where you see it

Where the team is struggling — the weakest category, with the three most recent misses.

The coaching move

One category, one week, one sentence everyone practises. “This week, nobody hangs up without a date.” Check the same panel next Monday.

  • Tuesday
  • 15 minutes
  • One rep

The one-on-one, already prepared

Where you see it

The rep’s page: trend, weak spots, best and worst call, improvement plan.

The coaching move

Open with his greens (they’re at the top of the plan), then one focus area with its clip. Agree the goal the plan names. Log the conversation — you’ll see whether the line moves.

  • The same day

Act on the alert while it’s warm

Where you see it

The same-day alert on a call under your line; the call page has the moment and the clip.

The coaching move

Listen to the red moment together before the shift ends. If the customer is still reachable, a second call fixes more than a lecture does.

  • Weekly
  • 5 minutes
  • Pairs

Pair your strongest with your weakest, by category

Where you see it

Who is strong where — the heatmap. Your best price-defender and your weakest are usually two different people.

The coaching move

Ask the dashboard “who handles price objections best, and how?” and have that rep walk the other through his own clips. Peer coaching, with evidence, and it costs you nothing.

  • Weekly
  • 3 minutes
  • Discovery

Count questions before price

Where you see it

Discovery questions — asked per call, and before price came up — per rep and trended.

The coaching move

Set a floor: three questions before a number. It is the most measurable habit on the floor, and the dashboard shows it moving within a week.

Find it on the demo team page →
Discovery questions: 5.8 asked per call, 2.9 before price came up, trended over the period
  • Monthly
  • 10 minutes
  • The standard

Raise the standard from the floor

Where you see it

Ask a question; under the answer, “What the standard says” — your tiers for that situation beside your reps’ best moments.

The coaching move

When a rep’s real answer beats what “best” describes, that’s the new best. Tell us; the Blueprint is updated and every future call is scored against the better line.

See ‘What the standard says’ in the demo →

  • Accountability

Check who’s reading

Where you see it

Did they read it? — reports opened, per rep. And each rep’s rank over time.

The coaching move

The rep who never opens his report and the rep who’s slid two places are the two conversations this month. The dashboard hands you both.

  • Any moment

Fix the standard, not just the rep

Where you see it

Any moment’s Suggest a change, and the Suggestions tab for what comes back.

The coaching move

When a report calls something wrong that the team actually does right, suggest the change from the moment itself instead of telling the rep to ignore the report. It takes about two minutes, and the outcome comes back as Applied or Not applied, with a note either way.

Every one of these plays starts from a panel you can click on right now.
